What I do

Four ways to work together.

Video editing

Talking-head, UGC, lifestyle and short-form edits with clean cuts, captions and pacing built for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

You send
Raw footage, references you like, the platform and deadline.
You get
A finished edit in the right ratio, ready to post.

Videography

Shooting for vlogs, events, church services, portraits and reels. I shoot phone-first and cover multiple angles so the edit has options.

You send
Date, place and what the footage is for.
You get
Organised footage, or the finished edit.

Social media management

Planning, editing, posting and updating accounts on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. I run the church’s accounts and have managed accounts for other clients.

You send
Account access, brand notes and goals.
You get
A posting plan and consistent content.

Clipping and repurposing

Long videos turned into short clips. I have run clipping campaigns on TikTok and YouTube across streamers, UGC, lifestyle, motivation and anime content.

You send
The source video or the campaign brief.
You get
A batch of clips, titled and formatted for each platform.

How a project runs

From first message to final file.

  1. Brief

You tell me what the video is for, where it will post and when you need it. The form below turns that into one clear message.

  2. Agree

We settle scope, price, deadline and the number of revision rounds in writing before I start.

  3. Rough cut

You get a first version to react to. Notes go back to me in one list.

  4. Deliver

Final export in the ratio and format you asked for, with a clean hand-off.

About

Editor, shooter, and a good teammate.

I’m David Talabi, the video editor and videographer behind Davidshotit and Davideditz, based in Onitsha, Nigeria. I’m also a Computer Science student. I lead the media team at Bethel City Church, where I edit, clip, shoot and post content, and I have trained three people to do the same.

Outside church I have edited for individuals, businesses and campaigns, and I run my own short-form accounts. A multi-angle video of Onitsha I shot and edited passed 28K views on TikTok.

I also taught a small in-school session on videography and editing basics, and I like making things clear for the people I work with.
